Walt Whitman "Whoever You Are Holding Me Now In Hand" figuratively he is saying that his special someone is holding on to him and his feelings he was also warning his significant other that it's not the best thing for them to be together, although in the mid section he mentions how he has become her husband. In the end he asks her to release him from her.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning "Love" is a poem about realizing and not realizing their acts in life when one opens up to another and to live your life with someone else is what completes you. You can't live your life fulfilled without someone else in your life.

"Sonnet 73" by William Shakespeare
I have analyzed this poem and to me i believe he is talking about love. That just because we know we will all face death, doesn't mean we can't live & love during the waiting time we have till we face it. We shouldn't be afraid to love even though as Shakespeare says " to love that well which thou must leave ere long."

"Ozymandias" by Percy Bysshe Shelley After analyzing this poem i think Shelly wanted to write about a person who travels and had not so pleasant encounters. And maybe an argument with the traveler and "King of Kings". I feel like it might mean that you can't really trust no one but your self because people ARE greedy & selfish.

The poem "Dreams" by Langston Hughes is about giving up is virtually the same to death. For example, in line 3 & 4, it says " Life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly".  Which signifies useless and without spirit or reason for living.

The poem "Love is" by Nikki Giovanni is about people forgetting the real meaning of love. I believe that because in the last stanza it says "Love is you and me". And in reality love is usually established between two people.
